Thingscare Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Thingscare”, “we”, or “our”) is committed to protect your privacy. This Statement explains how we protect your Personal Data (data which can identify you as a living individual on its own or in combination with other information that we hold) which may be contained in the Device Data (as defined in Chapter 1) collected through Thingscare’s services, software, or products (collectively “Products”).

1. How we collect your Device Data

When you use the Products which are connected to the internet, anonymous log data about your mobile device and Products will be automatically sent to Thingscare’s server for;

General analysis on usage of the Products
Improving the existing Products and developing new functions and Products
Eenhancing user experiences
As set forth in this Statement (collectively, “Purposes”)

The data which will be sent to Thingscare (collectively “Device Data”) are generally:

Hostname
OS name & version
Version of the product
Anti-virus name, version and state of working
Active (logged in) user ID
Incoming IP address
IP address and MAC address of NIC
Vendor, Model, Serial number, Version and Identifier of Mainboard
Vendor and Version of BIOS
Vendor, Part number, Capacity, Speed and Bank Information of Memory
Vendor and Capacity of Disk

2. Personal Data

Thingscare may collect Personal Data when you subscribe to a Product, open an account and/or purchase services. We may combine your Personal Data, Device Data and other information we collect regarding your activity on our websites and mobile apps. Our use of your combined information will be for the purpose of troubleshooting your inconvenience on our websites and mobile apps. Thingscare will use your combined information only on its websites and mobile apps, and not for purposes of tracking your activity on the Internet.

If the Device Data is of such a nature that is capable of identifying you by matching other Personal Data we hold, then we will protect such Device Data as Personal Data in accordance with this Statement and the applicable law.

3. How we use your Personal Data

Except as otherwise described in this Statement, we will not use your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes unless Thingscare informs you (when collecting your Personal Data) and obtains your consent. You may withdraw the consent at any time by contacting Thingscare.

4. How we share your information

Except as otherwise described in this Statement, your Personal Data will not be shared to other than Thingscare (including those located outside of the European Economic Area, the “EEA”) without your prior consent.

Thingscare may disclose your Personal Data to sub-contractors in order to:
1. provide and maintain any IT equipment used to process and store your Personal Data; or
2. obtain or provide you certain services through the Products.

Thingscare may disclose Personal Data when disclosure is:
1. requested by a public or governmental authority;
2. to comply with any applicable law, regulation, or legal process;
3. to act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of any officer, director, employee, agent or representative of Thingscare, any user of Thingscare Products, or any member of the public; or
4. for reasons of national security, law enforcement or other issues of public importance.

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the above third parties shall maintain appropriate physical and technical security to prevent loss or misuse of your Personal Data.

5. Access Rights

We take the security of your Personal Data very seriously and will use appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure.
